When the weather is hot enough to melt chocolate, I find nothing more satisfying than an iced drink. My personal taste is simple: a bit on the bitter side, not too much sweet added, and a bit of milk or half and half.
Here's an off-menu drink that I've been enjoying on the hottest days this summer:
Iced Chocolate Americano: Double short Americano with a teaspoon of 75% drinking chocolate, and a splash of 1/2& 1/2 for a marbled look as it settles around the ice cubes. That's my choice afternoon pick-me-up and to keep my ideas rolling. Cheers!
